Explore solutionYes, we supply replacement evaporator drums for both freshwater and seawater flake ice machines. Compatibility depends on your machine’s mounting dimensions, refrigeration circuit, drive motor, and ice skate assembly. To verify the fit, we review your compressor model, refrigerant, target output, and installation space. Our evaporator matching guide explains why outer dimensions and daily tonnage alone cannot confirm a direct drop-in replacement.
Start by aligning your target daily ice output with the compressor’s cooling capacity under actual operating temperatures. You will need to specify your compressor model, refrigerant type, water source, power supply, installation space, and required ice thickness. The drive motor and scraper assembly must also fit your system layout. Our evaporator range covers nominal outputs from 1 to 30 tons per 24 hours.
Standard MIMFE series evaporators use a dry-expansion feed system and run on R404A, R448A, or R449A. We configure the evaporator coil to match your chosen refrigerant, compressor, and circuit design. If your project requires a different refrigerant or feed method, our engineering team can evaluate a custom specification.
Freshwater evaporators are available in carbon steel or stainless steel, whereas seawater ice production requires a dedicated corrosion-resistant build. Choose the material based on your water supply, site environment, and all surfaces that contact water or ice. Freshwater and seawater drums are built as separate configurations across our product line.
We supply standalone evaporator drums for OEM machine builders and refrigeration contractors, matching the capacity, refrigerant, motor, and scraper assembly to your system. We also build custom drums to your technical drawings to meet specific mounting and dimensional limits. See our OEM manufacturing guide for details on how engineering drawings, component specs, and design revisions govern an OEM order.
